Dead London Records Blog
Expect news news and more news as we return from enforced technical hiatus! Thanks for bearing with us – a lot’s been happening. Now let’s shrug off the winter and get down to some frenetic activity. In the first quarter of 2014 both The Starries and Shana Tova have wrapped up recordings with Dom James at Carbon Studios, where Johnny Foreigner’s latest album was spawned.
The Starries, Shana Tova, Bombers and Eat Y’Self Pretty all feature on a compilation put together by local collective DIE DAS DER in association with Dead London Records and Brum Notes Magazine. The big triple D collective are an autonomous answer to faceless, souless so-called promoters that put zero effort into their events to reap a quick buck and massage their bloated egos. Bye bye losers, we’re shaking you OFF: Die Das Der are what Birmingham and it’s underground artistes needs in 2014. Lush initiative fully endorsed by Dead London. But we digress; the compilation, in celebration of Record Store Day, is limited to 100 physical copies hidden within the pages of a select few issues of Brum Notes. It’s FREE too, so happy hunting!
Apologies for the delay in updates we’ve had an issue with our website but all remedied now! So we rejoin the fray in a week where BOMBERS release a third helping of unmistakably smouldering darkness with new single ‘Forecast / The Way You Think You Look’. Check elsewhere for more news on the return of the B-Town press darlings…
